Hat Day

Hats off to the Caring Place team! November 15th was Hat Day at Paynter. Staff and students paid $1.00 to wear a hat to school that day. The $333 raised was donated to the Caring Place, a center for grieving children, adolescents and their families. See the website at www.highmarkcaringplace.com. Caring Place representative, Michelle Vargas, came to an assembly to thank the students for their generosity and to distribute Steeler hats and to show the Steeler jersey that will be raffled at the next fundraiser.

Kindergarten Feast

Pilgrims and Indians from all five Kindergartens met together in the cafeteria for a fantastic fall feast. The students made their hats and placemats. Many mom helpers were available to serve food, drinks, and desserts and to help with clean up. Thank you to all of them!
