In the event that it is necessary to close schools
due to inclement weather, the school district has developed
procedures to announce this information to the public.
Normally, the decision to close or delay the opening
of the schools will be made in order for the media to
broadcast the announcement at 6:00 a.m. Information is
provided to the following radio and television stations:

If Baldwin-Whitehall
Schools are closed, all school activities are cancelled
for that day and evening. Transportation service to all
public and non-public schools will be cancelled.

Hour Delay
If school opening
is delayed, students will report to their schools two
hours after the normal starting time. Transportation
service to all public and non-public schools will be
delayed by two hours.
Students in grades1-5
who are walkers, and those who are dropped off at school,
are not to arrive before 10:45 a.m.
